It has almost been 30-years since the most glamorous decade we call the 90s, and jumping from decade to decade we have encountered some dramatic changes, which were able to change the whole paradigm of nations and societies within them. It is fair to say that the most momentous trends we have seen in the past are still being carried out in the present.

If you look back and review the last 3 decades, you will look at things around you and wonder how everything you think you knew has completely restructured. Whether its evolving trends in the fashion, music, movies, cars and houses, or just the day-to-day grocery shopping. Everything you see is basically based on the same notions of the past. Basically, there are still things we use or traditions and cultures that were set in the most iconic era known as the 90s.

The most noticeable changes that are seen in the market are based on technology, which is so widespread nowadays that owning the latest tech is now become a trending fashion statement of the 2020. In the old days, it was more of a necessity or a primary mode of easier communication to have a cellphone in the pocket, back in the 90s. However, market trends held the developing technology close and gadgets became more than just requirement.

With the evolving fashion and trends in the market, people started following brands and social media became the most influencing trend setters of the market. Every new invention or development in the market would be focused on the latest trends in the specific era. Take cellphones for example, in march 2005, Sony Ericson; a popular phone company launched its Walkman series, having one of the few music focused product line, and the entire segment was focused on listening to music.

There is literally no debate there, 90s and the 2000s really had some outstanding artists and the television industry was blooming with vibrant colors. Some people mostly identify market trends today by different segments and how they have groomed over the
time period.

However, it is later identified that the whole psyche of the market, moves the market in reality. People seek convenience and ease of access along with a sprinkle of style in the things they use or interact with on a daily basis.

Various researches show that the commonly attempted tasks in business routine are conducted by automated marketing programs or websites that use such programs, like online portals. These portals use automation to make their repetitive tasks easier to enhance customer interaction. This is another tech-based trend that businesses use to benefit their progress.

Nowadays, people seek convenience in terms of buying things due to their busy routines. Literally, everyone with an access to internet, smartphone or a laptop, can type what they want and get it delivered right at their doorstep. For instance, if you are hungry and lazy at the same time, there are food apps at your disposal. If you want clothes, or accessories, there are online portals for that too. Searching for cars is easier on your phone now, rather than visiting automobile showrooms. If you seek buying real estate easy, there are real estate portals for that too.

Even in the real estate industry, people used to visit locations and search dealers and property agencies, and quite frankly that was quite a hassle. However, now things have gotten better and real estate market trends have started riding the same wave.

Online shopping is more of a trend of this decade than convenience, and that is actually really great because it shows you a more of a futuristic approach on how trends are evolving with time. This trend started catching fire around the 2010, then social media marketeers grasped what future could be and shaped it to a mutual benefit, and that’s your market and how it has evolved since the 90s.
